Spirals FAQ
Q-Do you have to be an experienced dancer to attend Spirals classes?
A-Absolutely not! This class is designed to be suitable for everyone from the complete beginner upwards!
Q-What clothing do you need to attend a Spirals class?
A-We suggest loose comfortable clothing, most people wear track pants or jog bottoms or leggings. We suggest that you wear layers.
Q-What footwear do you suggest for this class?
A-We recommend that you work in bare feet or soft ballet shoes as this helps to utilize the correct muscles.
Q-Is the class very energetic and high impact?
A-The class is designed to be as energetic as you feel, so for each track you are given the basic movement and then more challenging options are given, it is very much down to the individual to decide how much energy is put into those movements. The class is completely non impact and this is why is is perfectly safe to work in bare feet!
Q-Do you need to be very co-ordinated to do the class – I have two left feet?
A-Spirals is taught in a way that each version is taught over a period of twelve weeks and the same music and routines are taught over this period of time, so in theory everyone gets used to the tracks and the movements.
